  After eating sushi all over the world and having been to Japan, this is the best sushi I've ever had, low and behold in Metuchen NJ (who would have figured).  The quality of all the food we tried was outstanding.  I was really impressed with the great service and extensive menu.
  
  I had the green dragon roll and the Latin roll, both were excellent but the Latin roll totally took me by surprise because of how delicious it was.  The combo of the sweet plantains on the outside mixed with the soy sauce glaze was unreal.

  Not my top sushi place to be honest because it's not truly authentic but it's an interesting mix of Mexican and Japanese food. I ordered the king crab roll, rio of japan combo with 2 speciality rolls and California roll, as well as a speciality roll with plantains on top of the sushi. My favorite was the rio of japan combo. The king crab roll wasn't anything special- couldn't really taste the king crab. The plantains sushi was good at first cuz the sweetness of the plantains added to the roll was good but after taking more bites, it tasted weirdo
  
  FYI this place replaced another sushi joint that was actually more authentic.

  The restaurant was completely empty when I came here, and I don't understand how such a gem could be completely deserted on a Friday night. This was by far one of the best sushi spots I have ever been to. The sushi was phenomenal and the service was exceptional. I haven't returned, but if I am ever in the area again I would most definitely go back there for sushi. I highly recommend. The special roll with mango and strawberry in it was my favorite roll.

  Good sushi. Very good, actually. However, we were the only ones in the restaurant and somehow our order was still wrong. I ordered a spicy tuna hand roll and received a classic roll instead, and my partner ordered salmon sushi, receiving salmon sashimi instead. It wasn't enough to make us send it back, but I would be concerned about going at a busy time or evening. If the order isn't right when there's literally no one else in the restaurant, I'd be nervous visiting around busier times.
  
  Overall though, food was very good and staff was pleasant and helpful. I'm hoping the slight order issue was a fluke.

  Great place to get some excellent sushi. We have been here a few times now, and the service is always top notch. We've tried multiple different rolls and pieces of sushi - and all of them were meticulously prepared and delicious.
